Kids’ Crafternoon: Origami
Crafternoons for older kids are back! Join us for different projects on Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer.
This week (August 6th) is origami! Follow step-by-step diagrams to fold your square of paper into a little creature, or a special shape. We’ll have a ton of different patterned origami paper for you to choose from, and a bunch or origami books and directions out for inspiration. Stop in any time between noon and 5:00 to begin (we’re open until 6:00, but you’ll want time to finish your masterpiece!).
As noted, this is an activity for grade school children and teens rather than preschoolers (age 7 and up). Some crafternoons involve elements that are hot, sharp, or extra messy. A helpful adult or an older teen will still need to attend to lend a hand and monitor behavior.
