Kids’ Crafternoon: Make Crayons
Crafternoons for older kids are back! Join us for different projects on Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer.
This week (July 9th) is make your own crayons! Staff will be on hand to help you choose a mold, place your colors, and melt the wax into your own unique crayon! Stop in any time between noon and 5:00 to begin (we’re open until 6:00, but you’ll want time to finish your masterpiece!).
As noted, this is an activity for grade school children and teens rather than preschoolers (age 7 and up). Some crafternoons involve elements that are hot, sharp, or extra messy. A helpful adult or an older teen will still need to attend to lend a hand and monitor behavior.
